love to me, entails total commitment and caring for one another. Love does not compliment isolation. Love gives room for a healthy relationship. For any relationship to foster into another level of seriousness, there must be sincerity of purpose from the both parties. Love is never a one way exercise. Is all about proper notification. If u fall in love with someone whom u term as ur crush, dear friends, go ahead and declare ur love for that person. These has nothing to do with culture. Dying in silence over someone u love so much, can lead to depression especially when the person does not know if u exist. Any way, some African countries like ghana, has gradually broke out from these cultural norms and abnormal mentality that says if a woman loves a man or crushing over him, such girl must not make a move except the man first make a move. Dear friends, this is barbarianism. I can confidently tell u that these ill teachings is the more reason many African young ladies are single forever. Take that bold step and say to him, hello I love u. If he turns u down, nothing wrong about it. Women oftentimes advocate for gender equality yet makes such equality unreasonably selective. If what a man can do, women can do better, then take a bold step and approach ur male crush. I remember reading on the pages of a newspaper where the wife of our super actors wife Mrs Williams uchemba said she was first to approach him on the social media. Let me tell u a story that happened some years back. I traveled to Ghana to to gather some Ghanaian actors for my movie, I met movie director frank Rajah who now introduced me to the likes of majid Michael, van vicker, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne nelson, Martha Arkumah etc. Dear friends, during my stay in Ghana for good one month, I discovered Ghanaian girls are more civilized compared to their Nigerian canterpart. One night, I decided to club at the casino club located in Accra circle. as I was there with my PA then taking our drink, one beautiful Ghanaian girl in her 20s, left her seat to where I was sitting. She asked "can I sit with u dear? I said why not. She said"I guess ur Nigerian? I replied "oh yes! She went straight to tell me why she left her seat. She boldly told me"guy I love u. Omo, the rest was history. Am not saying such has never happened in Nigeria, but the demography of those girls who are bold to say such is not up to 20 percent. Anyway, as a student who was so brilliant, neat, course rep, and outspoken. Many girls in my class did same but was criticized by their friends for such boldness.
