Nigerians undoubtedly, celebrated her 59th independence Anniversary in a very low key and its reluctant turnout that marked this year independence anniversary! This however, is a testimonial to poor and lack of visionary governance super headed with some unimaginable level of impunity against her citizens in every human facets.Nigeria as a country, completely break's out of its colonial rules and became an independent nation in the year 1960 through the patriotic civil engagement led by our past hero's who fought unrelentingly for the Nigeria independence with a great wide spread of unity among themselves irrespective of their cultural differences and ethnic hegemony, yet they where able to  surmounte every forces that could render them incapacitated and retrogressive for their undying mission for the Nigeria independence. For example, the likes of Dr.nnamdi Azikiwe,Awolowo,Amadu bello,and etc where the arrow head who bargained and finally bought the Nigeria independence we all are celebrating today with their unity of purpose.now,where is the Nigeria and her institutionalized independence?how come we now have greater personalities whose only missions is to render our several institutions unproductive and  dispotic with  parochial desires and ethnic bigotry? How come we now hav leaders across our various institutions whose personalities lacks a coherent view or correspondence to the ethics and practices that guides a sustainable modernized institutions? Does this mean that Nigeria as a country lack visions for the generation yet unborn?how come our institutions has been systematically taken over by men of questionable characters as well as runs our institutions aground? Why is our leaders so sentimental to the issues of national importance? Why is our national patrimony meant to spherically move to the hands of every citizens of this country now rest in the hands of some few greedy individuals? Why is our institutions completely dependent from the presidency and the governors ?why are we still sourcing for foreign financial aids before we can funds or carryout any meaningful development across Nigerian states?why are we still backward even with the enormous resources been generated over the years through the sells of  national crude oil and other forms of IGRS?why is our 2020 financial budget proposal only dwelling excruciatingly on the servicings of our financially accumulated debts to that of our national developmental projects?and why is our several institutions are not financially independent to perform their statutory obligations for nation building? The ontological truth is that the structures on which Nigeria as a country is rested on, has completely derailed from the overall visions of our founding fathers whose interest was total,whose interest was selfless, whose interest was to build nigeria into an enviable status,whose interest was nothing but good governance, whose interest was for national development and regional integrations, whose interest was to ensuring every Nigerians is opportunistically open for a quality education, whose interest was nothing but an egalitarian society irrespective of our social strata's and our educational backgrounds, and whose interest was to provide for her citizens with every available basic amenities for  societal growth. Today what we the Nigerian citizens has witness over the years from our obstinate political leaders, is nepotism, and  total flagrant to the laid down institutionalized rules and procedures. What type of independence are we boasting of when our institutions meant to be independent are been controlled and hijacked by the strong personalities? What type of independence are we celebrating when the judiciary arms now dispense contradictory justice due to selfish interest and financial inducement? What type of independence are we erroneously celebrating when the Nigerian police are locking up innocent citizens and then left the real culprits and their accomplice move freely on the street?what type of independence are we celebrating when our electoral system over the years has given the Nigeria electorates poor electoral system by locking out the voting power of the electorates in electing credible and visionary leaders whose yarning for the development of Nigeria is undying and workable? What independent  are we celebrating when our media houses and  citizens right for the freedom of speech is now been shortchanged and gagged to accommodate their corruptible institutions? Our country Nigeria is now a banana republic where only the antagonist is now the survival of the fittest and those who worked so hard to earn a living are been pushed to the unpalatable wall of agony and retrogression. We must begin to champion a political behaviors best suited for national unity and its exemplary leadership. We must learn how to set a leadership standard that exemplified quality morals,and its national harmonious relationship in creating a sustainable regional unity which to me is sacrosanct for a modern development.we therefore,propose for a young harding work leader with clarity for national basic vision of all nigerians to bring us out of this leadership quagmire  instituted by some political jobers and those whose leadership purpose is undefined with poor leadership prospect for the people!Is there any visible development where there are lack of sustainable peace.?
