INEC ISSUED CERTIFICATE OF RETURN TO OKOROCHA

Ex IMO state governor, Rochas okorocha just received his certificate of return from Inec after passing through hoodless to assume his position as senator elect.Okorocha was denied certificate of return from the inec,citing some improper misconduct against the newly elected senator.The inec returning officer in IMO state had allegedly claimed that the out gone IMO state governor held him and his team hostage at a gunpoint thereby, forcing him to rewrite the election result for his Favour.this however, made the national body of inec to keep the issuance of Rocha's okorocha,s returned certificate pending. The ex governor took the case to court where justice Okon Abam of the Federal high court delivered a judgement on his favour.therefore,ruling that inec lack the power from stopping Mr Rocha's okorocha from receiving his certificate of return as senator elect.going by the said judgement, inec spokesman, festus okoye made a media briefing where he said that inec will sit and review the said judgement by justice Okon Abam to know the possibility of issuing a certificate of return to okorocha or still maintain their earlier stand of not issuing any inec certificate of return to his.As I speak with u now,Mr okorocha has received his certificate of return from the inec today.
