A business boat owner and driver has been arrested in Lagos for carrying sch children without life jacket.

A business boat owner and his driver has been arrested in Lagos for carrying 12 school children with out wearing life jacket.The national island waterways Authority (Niwa) has seized the  saidboat too.The general manager, Lagos office, muazu sambo,said,The school children where going for a school event from takwa Bay to Osborne area of Lagos state for a school event which is also one of the busiest route in Lagos.The Niwa boss,said,The owner of the boat and the driver conveying the student for the sch event will be handed over to the police for offense which contravened Nigeria safety laws.
