(1)when seeking for powers from the electorates,tell them what is only pleasant to the ears:dissemination of information is essentially unavoidable when it comes to politics. Information plays an integral part of politics when power is glamorized. The power seeking politician ,wants to speak to his electorates, while the electorates are anxiously waiting to hear what he intends to speak if it is in tandem with their personal or group interest.in this regard,if unreasonable information is donated to the electorates that sounds negatively absorbed, the electorates terms to see his campaign statements as nothing but just a mere political crusade that lacks objectives.
(2)learn how to preach to the electorates with something anew not same old stories:this second phase of information dissemination must be very strategic in achieving political aspirations through electoral system.the only key to democracy is voting democracy.the politician have his aspirations for the people and for himself,yet may lack the power to achieve his aspirations when the electorates refuses to key to his political ideologies. Look let me tell u.no woman wants to hear the same old stories of "i love u when ur actions in the past remains the same.except u have to come up with something anew to convince her why u where unable to keep up to ur promises for over the past decades.this is an evolving world of modernity characterized with present societal demands.don't come and tell a clean graduate who knows what he studied in the university to go into farming without providing capital or funds to practice mechanized farming systems! That is a bad political campaign to hear from any prospective politician and those in the game.human ears are very sensitive and have the capacity to transmit vital information to the brain system. Therefore whatever that goes into the ears creates an ilicit of actions.a typical Nigerian political elite will tell u,I will give u constant power supply if am made the president. Lol.this piece of information has expired in the minds of the Nigerian electorates. Tell them what is new and reserve to ur self those old fashion stories. Other wise,they will throw ur politician ideologies into a political dustbin.
(3)Don't outshine ur master in his incapacitation:politics is a game played by men of questionable characters. Every politician is self centred.no best friend in politics and no permanent enemy in politics. What is only permanent is self interest.no matter how u treat ur political allies with some respect and material gifts presentation, he will still hav the notion of outshining ur political present position if given the chances from ur political opponents. These however,has brought many political protege to their untimely death when their master perceived a dangerous signal from his once loving political protégé. Look,two master can not be in a single ship.especially when the first master is Carlos and can do any thing to maintain his position. For example, Atiku abubarkar and his former boss chief olusegun obansanjo.the only animosity between this two political elite is betrayal and outshining political Cornish behaviors.
(4)learn how to master the acts of political negotiations: politics without negotiations, is like a mere child whose instinctual energies is yet to be adequately developed. Negotiations in politics gives room for political allies as well as work towards same political directional visions in achieving self interest.the actual reasons some politician where unable to go beyond their expectations is because of political greed.for example, when our incumbent president went into political alliance with senator bola tinubu which gave rise to the ruling all progressive Congress, he was able to achieve his political aspirations of becoming Nigerian president. A dream he has been nursing for sometimes now yet failed to achieve that aspirations. Elections in Nigeria are not won by the popularity of the candidate, but by the popularity of the personalities that forms the political party.politics is local.I don't know who president Muhammed Buhari was until when our leader in the personality of hon.Rotimi chibuike Amaechi brought pmb,s visions to the people of rivers state state and we all keyed to that visions because of our leader.if popularity of the candidacy wins election, why has pmb unable win most of the election he contested with his weak political allies that lack the strategies for winning an election. In fact most of them where in his then political party and was in a holy alliance with PDP.that's why they won governorships elections in their respective states due to political negotiations. Don't be deceived by our politician for every political behavior is a black flag that can never be turn into White.
(6)Don't underestimate any political elements when u lack the political will power to crush him to nothing: every political elements is elusively dangerous. No politician without a plan!therefore, when u believed ur own plan is far more smarter and regards that of ur opponent plans as nothing but useless, surprises becomes the game with the political events and outcomes.this is the essential reasons many politician will tell u that their opponents never won them even when it is glaringly evident they lost the election to their opponents. A good politician works smarter than others.while a dull politician work with pictorial evidence. Haven't u seem our political campaign grounds?a foolish politician believed he has the majority after seem the number of people that troops out for his campaign not forgetting they are the same set of people that went for his opponent campaign grounds due to monetary inducement. In this regard,a good politician works with statistics not pictures.
(6) learn how to make proper use of monetary gifts:many politician have come up with many strategies to winning visible election thorough the ballot. This however creates an avenue to donate money,material gift items etc.every smart politician knows that the electorates is the only engine room for Democratic governance. For they possess the electoral will power to make any politician realizes his ambition and also have the electoral power to make any politician lose any election. A coward politician shares his campaign money to the political elite that amassed only but 10 percent of the voting power and ignored the electorates with the full power for voting. Infact,from my recent research, out of the 10 percent of our political elite many aspiring politician runs to for help in winning elections,only 3 percent comes out to cast their votes while other seats at home monitoring the elections at the comfort of their home!a grassroots politician makes sure every body who intend to cast his vote for him gets a material reward before the day of the election through what they call stomach infrastructure cos they knew how to work on the primary needs of the poor ones in the society who constitute over 80 percent of the Nigerian population. So they can easily play on their psychology. How do u expect a poor man that lacks food at home to stand in the queue to cast his vote for u!to him,all he need is money or gift to get fed for the day.therefore he does not care who governs him because his primary need has been met by the politician who donates food or money to him forgetting his future and that of the generation yet unborn.
(7)create a platform for a positive perception about ur personality for the electorates: public perception about many politician could be demeaning as well as helpful.evey politician wants popularity. But the questions to ask,how does ur popularity marched with ur political image?how do people perceived ur personality? Do they see u as a good man?do they perceives u as a corrupt politician? Do they perceived u as one that can ameliorate the political imbalances in our polity or one who will create more problems of tribal sentiment and ethnic disharmony? Do they see u as one who intend to impoverished the c itizens and then make ur family becomes rich over night? Do they perceived u as one whose batted image with out remedy was never a mere political gimmick from ur opponent who severely spank on ur political image with a clear evidence of what u have been doing before seeking for any elective offices?this are the prospective electoral questions every electorates wants to ask and demand a clearer explanations!now if been found wanting with ur abhorable political behaviors and batted personality, what are u doing to rewrite ur story to the minds of the electorates? For example, senator bola tinubu who has been accused of several corrupt practices and how he has lord himself over Lagos state,is doing exceptionally great in this area of educating his electorates his followers that he has the political will power to make Nigeria great again. He is paying heavily to the media to rewrite his batted corrupt image with some laid down good aspirations to the media he believed he has for the Nigerian populace. That is what a smart politician do.
(8)use ur power perfectly to the overall interest of the masses to achieving selfish aims:now let's use senator bola tinubu and Lagos state as a case study!bola tinubu who governed Lagos state and became rapidly rich after he left office,he decides who becomes Lagos state governor as well as forms a governance over governance when it comes to appointment and execution of government projects.he left office by setting up a sound leadership standard for his successors which has brought a rapid growth and development in Lagos state in infrastructure and internally generated revenues. Today Lagos state is exceptional rich all to the overall brainchild initiative of bola tinubu,s visionary leadership. These ironically has given him a political edge to achieving selfish agenda using overall interest of the lagosian to drive home his Godfatheristic theory of politics.
(9)never u rely on ur political godfather before taken any personal decision for the benefit of the people u govern:some people will say politics is a dirty game.but I tell u,if politics is a dirty game,then u and I needs a good detergent to wash it completely off.fmr governor of Lagos state Ambode was ousted out by his political godfather due to poor personal decision. The political scenario going on in Edo state right now between the incumbent governor and his predecessor Adams oshomole,would hav become an expectation from many lagosians who believed the out gone governor Ambode was performing creditably well in the areas of good governance therefore, must retained his position for the next four years.but he reluctantly rejects to fight for his constitutional Right. If Ambode had decamped to another political party,trust me,he would have won the governorship election for the second term through the backing of the Lagos electorates who are fed up with the overbearing influence of Tinubu in the Lagos state political atmosphere. Ambode had the political powers to utilized in getting him his second term ,but poorly accepted his defeat without a fight like a child who is an orphan. For him to hav surrendered his ambition to samwolu like a weak political animal, there may be some secret about him only him and his boss and godfather bola tinubu knows about he never wanted to be exposed to the Nigeria populace.
(10)sincerity in politics is dangerous: politics will only remained politics and can never become a religious organization where truth and sincerities is total. As a politician, stop been real to ur boss! Research has it that those who works with sincerity to their boss are oftentimes rewarded with patry appointment or none.while those politicians who never worked hard during electionairing process for their boss ,gets vital and sensitive appoinments even with their little financial contributions ,they however became the most beneficials of his government. In politics, hard work are never rewarded but personal interest.trust me,80 percent of appointments in political governance are not made on the basis of hard work and meritocracy but self serving interest.political followers must work with their brains not with their physical powers.many who worked with their physical power without brain never lived to enjoy the benefit of their hard work due to untimely death occasioned with their political ignorance.and are forgotten without a homage from their masters.
(11)never give up to ur political competitors no matter the circumstances until ur political aspirations are achieved: winners don't lose,and quiters never won.so be wise.do u believed me that many politician who gave up their political aspirations or ambition for others sometimes, are rendered politically useless or dead when it comes to decision making in governance and politics. Dear friend,for the fact u gave up ur political ambition for him doesn't mean he sees u as a friend! U still remained his number one competitor and possibly his political enemy. Therefore, don't expect him to carry you along when it comes to decision making. A rival will always be seen as a rival irrespective of ur sacrifice. I oftentimes hear many politicians says"I forfeited my political ambition just for the sack of the party to win!my dear don't fool ur self,be brave to get ur candidacy from another political party and work towards ur ambition if ur political party refuses to accept u.is better to try than not trying. The worst political obstacles that can befall any politician is when those u surrendered ur ambition for and work towards their victory sees no effort in every of ur actions that led to his political victory. In fact he will help u dug ur political grave as well as bury ur political career without remorse. No politician desire to work with those that knows what they knew. They only work with those they believed can be easily convinced to accept their self agradizement and work towards achieving then.information in politics is the greatest weapons.don't expect them to carry u along for decision making to avoid having full knowledge of how their governance is been run.
(12)Be a good listener and talkless:proper listening in politics is key to achieving political end.assumedly, one refuses to speak in any political meeting, his decision and his knowledge are only for him alone not for the public. One of the major problem identified with the APC national chairman, comrade Adam oshomole is that he talks a lot without listening a lot. When u talk a lot in politics without listening properly to solving any problems on ur table as a leader.people see,s u as a man with no secret and possibly became afraid to usher in useful advice in assisting u to solving ur responsible problems. Discored escalates to an intolerable minimum and therefore, blown into an interest of many factions that gives rise to more political discord here and there. due to poor political listening skills to solving political animosity. A good politician will always want to listen from the two wearing factions with fair acceptability before arriving at any popular politicial decision that best serve the interest of the larger group he governs.good politician do not speak when others are speaking. He monitors what others are saying and build on then as a genus expressionist .
We all must be involved with politics, for politics is already involved in our system. Be wise.
